déi Lénk has many faces and is a diverse movement. We have no party presidency, no professional politicians and no hierarchy. Our people who represent us externally are our two spokespersons. And our people who decide the political orientation of the Left together, are represented in the National Coordination (NAKO).

Spokespeople

Gary Diderich

Gary Diderich is 37 years old and grew up in Déifferding. He had his first political involvement at the age of 16 with the youth section of the ecological movement. He studied Philosophy and in 2002 founded a cooperative for solidary further education. Today, Gary is also active in a housing cooperative that develops alternative forms of housing.

Since 2011, Gary is a municipal councilor in Déifferding.

Carole Thoma

Carole Thoma is 29 years old and is from Diddeleng. During her studies, she became interested in politics. In 2011 she became a member of déi Lénk and then also got involved in the trade union. Carole is a bridge engineer by profession.

Since March 2019, Carole is a member of the Chambre des Salariés (CSL).

National Coordination

The Congress annually elects a National Coordination (NaKo). This committee is unlimited in number, every member can run for office and every member of déi Lénk can participate in the meetings. The NaKo leads déi Lénk throughout the year, takes the important political and financial decisions.
